The famous 1941 Steelcraft U.S. Army Plane inspired this American Retro pedal plane. This pedal plane is made of heavy gauge steel just like the originals. But American Retro added chrome and lots of it. This classic kid's toy from Ride on Toys contains a windhield, steering wheel, hubcaps, exhaust, ports, hood scoops, and propeller! And, when this plane is pedaled, the propeller even turns! This pursuit pedal plane is deep silver gray and trimmed in red with blue graphics and a red padded seat making this the perfect vintage pedal plane ride! Some assembly is required - wings, front wheels, steering wheel, and rear wheel. The tools required for assembly are pliers, screwdriver, and 8mm wrench. Wheels are made of steel (10" dia in front, 8" in the rear) and 3/4" rubber in front, and 5/8" rubber in the rear. The finish is scratch resistant, rust resistant, child safe, non-toxic powder coating.
